Mohiniyattam performance at UK Parliament

Dear all,

My sister-in-law,(my brother's wife) Mrs. Kairali, who stays in Bristol, UK got a chance to perform Mohiniyattam along with her friend Sridevi in UK Parliament as part of Onam Celebration which is celebrating for the first time UK Parliament.

Warriers shine at the Kerala govt. Kalolsavam held at Kozhikode.

Photographs of newspaper items regarding the recently held Kerala Govt conducted Kalolsavam at Kozhikode. In this competition from one varier family four kids stood first in their respective fields.


1. Photo no. 1 (where two girls photo displayed) Its caption " Disciple is one step forward to her tutor" Where Parvathy Kumar is Diciple of Laxmi Das (Tutor). Parvathy stood first in MG University in Kavya Keli competition whereas her tutor stood second. Parvathy is 5th semester computer engg student and daughter of Kumar-Geetha of Erath Variem, Thodupuzha.


2. Photo no.2 where three kids: First is Sreelaxmi and her brother Krishnachandran and in the middle is Pallavi ( younger sister of Parvathy Kumar referred above). Sreelaxmi & krishnachandran is offsprings of Sajan & Sharadha of Erath Variem and also brother of Mr Kumar.


Pallavi stood first in Kathakali Sangeetham & Shastriya Sangeetham (2 items). Krishnachandra stood first in Kavyakeli & Thayambaka whereas his sister Sreelaxmi stood first in Shastreeya Sangeetham.


3. In the third atttachment amongst others Pallavi, Krishnachandran & Sreelaxmi's photo given.


Erath variem, (headed by famous photographer Chandran Varier and his three sons) Thodupuzha is full of talented artists and it is a matter of pride for all variers.

Mandala Pooja celebrated by Delhi Warriers

A cultural evening was organised at the Uttara Guruvayoorappan Temple by the cultural wing of the Delhi Warrier - DHWANI.

Bhajans and dances by members of the samithy was well attended by devotees and members of Delhi Warrier Samithy who braved the cold winds and rains to make this occassion a memorable evening.

Delhi Warrier Samithy expresses its special thanks to Mrs. Raji Warrier, Mrs. Lata Sudhir, Mr. Sreekumar Warrier, all participants and the audience for making this event successful.
